Photographing performing arts is my most profound love. 

Performances, rehearsals, work in progress, workshops, shooting stills for clips, conceptual sessions - each of these has its own treasures. It is always far more than 'capturing a moment'. It is bringing out the hidden layers of a piece, that even the artist is not always aware of, and that are sometimes a surprise to me as I work on the pictures. 

Photographing dance, performance or music is always about a genuine connection to the heart of a piece. It is a true act of creation. The works I have shot have become a part of me and I grow with them.
